Live tattooing for brand events in Toronto

I am Mitch, a Toronto tattoo artist booked by a jewellery brand for a flash day, and available to tattoo guests at brand events, conferences and pop-ups. Designs are drawn to your brand and tattooed on site by me.

What a live tattoo booking gives you

A tattoo stays with the guest long after the campaign has closed.

I draw the brand or campaign into designs inside your guidelines and run the chair as a station inside your event.

I take bookings for:

  • Brand events and activations
  • Conferences
  • Small pop-ups

Every booking starts with a short conversation about what you are planning and how tattoos sit inside the schedule. From there I suggest a format.

Style and approach

Fine line traditional is my main style choice. Realism comes next, then dark and blackwork. All of my work is black and grey.

At an event, that means clean designs that read well at a small scale and photograph well for your content team. Placement matters as much as line work. I will tell a guest where a design will sit well on the body.

If you run a strict brand system, I build inside it.

How a partnership works

1. First call

A short call or video chat is enough to start.

2. Concept and artwork

I then propose a direction. Usually that is a flash sheet drawn to your brand and agreed in advance, so guests pick from a set you have already signed off. Flash is part of my normal practice. I tattoo it at events and by appointment from my chair.

If you send references, I will not copy them line for line. I use them as a starting point and design something original that still looks like your brand.

3. Logistics and setup

I bring an assistant. The venue supplies power, a table, lighting, enough room to work in and somewhere to dispose of sharps.

Before the date, you and I agree how guests claim their slots and where tattooing sits in the running order. One person is in the chair at a time.

Event terms

Events are booked on a day rate. Across an eight-hour day I can tattoo 20 to 30 guests. Work outside Toronto carries a travel fee.

I need two weeks' notice as a minimum, and a $500 deposit holds the date. I carry insurance for off-site work, and my public health inspection covers tattooing at events.

What your brand gets

A consistent look across every guest

I have six years tattooing. The tattoos leaving your event look like they came from the same hand.

Replies and planning

I reply to enquiries by email and say yes only to the events I can do well. If a plan will not work in the time or the space you have, I will say so early enough for you to build around it.

A guest experience that reflects on you

Guests get the design and the placement explained, and time to ask questions before anything starts.

Safety and compliance

I hold bloodborne pathogens certification and work under Toronto public health requirements for tattooing.

Needles are sterile and single-use, and the same standards apply at an event as at my appointments. Everyone tattooed is 18 or older, with government photo ID.

If someone needs medical advice, I send them to their doctor or a clinic. I give no medical advice.

tattoo placement

One flash day on record

The jewellery brand Clocks and Colours booked me for a flash day at Oz fest. They asked for designs drawn to their brand, and I worked an eight-hour day.

Formats I offer

Brand event or activation

Guests book a small piece drawn to the campaign during the event.

Conference

A booth or lounge runs a limited roster of appointments across the day.

Pop-up

A single day at a pop-up, with guests choosing from a flash sheet drawn to the brand.

If your idea looks different from all of these, bring it to the first call.
