The tattoo process,start to finish.
Eight steps, from the first message to the healed result. By appointment, never walk-in.
- 01
Send the idea
You might arrive with a fully formed concept or a loose thought. Either way, we start in the same place: a short consult.
Start the seven questions - 02
Sit down with me
You tell me what you are thinking: subject, size, feeling, where you want it. I look at your skin, muscle movement and how that area will age.
Plan your tattoo - 03
Hear what will actually work
If I think your idea needs a different size, placement or level of detail, I will say so. I want the linework and detail to hold up as your skin changes.
Where a piece should sit - 04
- 05
I draw it for you
If you bring me a reference, I will not copy it line for line. I use it as a starting point to build something that fits your body and tells your version of that story.
The styles I work in - 06
Stencil and placement
On the day, we start by going over the design and placement again. You see the stencil, we check it from every angle, and we only move forward when it feels right. The setup is clean and laid out with care. Every needle and tube I use is single-use and opened in front of you. Surfaces are wrapped, gloved, and wiped down before and after.
If it is your first - 07
In the chair
During the tattoo, you can talk, put headphones in, or just zone out. I keep you updated on how long each part will take and where we are at. If you need a break, we take one. There is no timer running in the background pushing us to rush.
What it feels like - 08
Healing and touch-ups
When the tattoo is done, I walk you through aftercare step by step. You leave with instructions written down so you do not have to remember everything. If the piece is from me, touch-ups are free within one month when needed. I want the healed result to sit as well as the fresh one.
